Being your own client is not nearly as easy as you may expect it to be.
Illustrator was still a fairly new program for me to use, and so learning to translate my extensive experience in traditional and digital art into vector art was a challenge. I'm happy with the end result, but my journey to get to this logo was riddled with second-guessing and ctrl-z presses. I wanted to convey my ability, my creativity and my love of the off-beat aspects of art in this logo. I think after going through this process myself, I further appreciate the process of creating a logo and negotiating what goes into it, what is implicit and explicit in its creation, and the decisions that go into it all.
